Look at the biggest of the owlets swallowing a whole animal (mouse?), tail and all! We think there is only one unhatched egg left and at least five babies. It’s hard to count them because the big ones obscure the little ones. It’s amazing that Luna is able to keep the remaining egg warm, tear up pieces of meat for the youngest babies, drop rodents for the older babies, and feed herself. Leonard is doing a good job bringing in prey…and continues to mount busy Luna at random times. (3/20/24 12:04 AM)
